I recently got back from NYC (I love that city). The city was loud, brilliant, fast, overflowing with life. One night I was at a comedy club in the West Village. The next morning I woke up in bed, sick, barely able to speak. and here is what I learnt for that experience:

Charging Bull at 5am (woke up sick after i went to bed)
I stayed up all night so I could go record a video (which you would see soon), after being out in the Manhattan street all day/night and I payed the price for this but now know…
You don’t just need health to survive — you need it to experience life.
Because what’s the point of ambition if you’re too drained to enjoy it?
🔍 The Beauty of Being Well
There’s a myth we tell ourselves when we’re grinding and LOCKED IN:
“I’ll rest after the launch.”
“Health is a luxury.”
“I’ll eat once i finish this“ (it’s 6pm)
“Sleep is for people without goals.”
NYC taught me otherwise.
Even in one of the most electric cities on earth, I couldn’t take it all in once and my health crashed. The views, the noise, the buzz it all faded beneath a migraine, sore throat and cough. This was as a result of lack of sleep, lack of care of because I wanted to do it all and as a result I did less.
You don’t realize how much your body gives you until it can’t.
When your health slips, your freedom slips with it.
Your ability to:
Create
Connect
Travel
Show up
Build your life (The life you actually want)
They all depend on how well your body’s doing. On your health.
So maybe health isn’t wealth.
but maybe it’s the platform wealth stands on.
🧠 Reframe: Health as a Leverage Tool
Want clarity of thought?
Build metabolic health.
Want emotional stability?
Regulate your nervous system.
Want energy to execute?
Fuel and sleep like your goals depend on it ummm…because they do.
This isn’t about 10-step biohacking routines. It’s about small non-negotiables:
Movement
Hydration
Morning light
Stillness
Exercise
Protecting your health = protecting your potential.
Don’t trade your lungs for leverage. Your rest for recognition. Your peace for productivity. Health isn’t wealth…it’s what makes any of it possible.
This is how I show up in business, content, modeling, and real estate now. Not to “be someone,” but to offer something to someone else.
⚙️ Tools I Use: My Minimum Health Stack
After NYC, I recommitted to my Minimum Viable Wellness Routine — even when traveling or in a sprint:
LMNT packets or JUST WATER BOTTLE for electrolytes on the go
Barefoot walks or grounding in the morning
Magnesium glycinate or Magnesium Cream before bed to reset sleep
Miday Breathwork (4-4-4-4) to downregulate cortisol - I use headspace
These don’t require a gym or a kitchen. But they bring me back to myself.

🏋🏾♂️ Mind & Body Boost: Silent Sessions
Once I got back:
Light mobility exercise in the morning
Cold shower to reset nervous system
10K steps outside with a friend - no AirPods
Single-tasking work with jazz in the background
It wasn’t about crushing it. It was about clearing it.
Clearing the fog. The guilt. The pressure.
When you’re aligned internally, life hits clearer externally.
💭 Thought to Chew On
Hustle without health is hype.
Vision without vitality is fantasy.
Stop waiting until the crash to start taking care of your engine.
There’s a version of you that still works hard, still wins, and still feels good in the process.
Find that version. Nurture them. Let them grow.
